Denee Anderson

Interim Director of Children’s Ministries
 Denee Anderson has joined the NECC staff as our interim Children’s Ministry Director.  Denee grew up in the Naperville Covenant congregation, which is where she met her husband Kurt.  They have 2 daughters Ava and Ingrid.

Denee has always had a strong calling to work with children.  She was a fourth grade teacher in Naperville’s District 204 for 5 years. Her passion was to create a calm, respectful classroom environment where every child had an opportunity to succeed in their own way.  But, it was her summers as a Covenant Harbor camp counselor that opened her eyes to how incredible it was to be able to help children grow in their faith.  It is her desire to create new and exciting ways to learn about who God is, His amazing love, and why He wants each of us to join His family. 

In her free time Denee loves to curl up with a good novel, spend time helping her kids discover the world around them, and watching a good movie, preferably a comedy.
